Calibration Laboratory
- Calibrations are performed according to calibration procedures that were verified and found fit for units in our laboratory in accordance with our sanas accreditation.
- If it is found that the values are outside the specified limits, adjustments are performed and the “before adjustment” and “after adjustment” results reported on the calibration certificate. This allows the customer to see the difference in results.
- After every calibration, a calibration certificate and sticker are issued, which bears the SANAS accreditation logo and lab’s number. This provides traceability that the AFSCL calibration laboratory has met and continuously meet the requirements of ISO IEC 17025:2017 as proven through independent third-party assessment by SANAS, but also international recognition of calibration performed in South Africa.
- All Laboratory standards are calibrated by laboratories with a better accuracy either locally or aboard. All calibrations are traceable to national or international standards.
On-Site Calibration
- AFSCL is accredited for on-site calibrations services.
- We are more than willing to visit your premises to perform on-site calibrations on bigger equipment such as benches an any electronic spindles that are mounted for in-line production.
- This helps with down time in your factories.
- It saves on shipping costs.
- This helps to avoid damage to units during transportation.
- For on-site calibration we prefer to perform calibrations in a controlled environment.
